About This Project:
On this project, we were hired to create a direct marketing program, a PURL program, write copy, and design all the pieces. It is part of a larger branding and service launch.
We worked with this client to determine the ideal prospect (people who need offsite storage for business equipment, leisure activities and general storage), what their needs were (remote storage space they could purchase as an investment), and how to position the client’s product so that—in the mind of their prospect—it solved those needs. We developed the strategy and variable pieces that were directed to each recipient, including variable photos depending on the need of the recipient. We also helped develop the offer and the call to action (visit your personal VIP landing page, and receive a free gift). We wrote the copy for this piece based on market research and input from the client. The main objective of this copy was to persuade the reader to do visit their VIP landing page.
On this project, we provided the client with concept, art direction and creative graphic design. The purpose of the design was to drive interest in this new product, and the client was looking to attract new clients.
This particular piece was instrumental in helping Marketing generate sales leads for their sales force. It helped reduce the time that marketing generated hot and relevant leads and delivered them to the sales department. Depending on the area of interest, emails were sent to specific sales team members for more rapid response. The PURL program we create for this client helped them capture the interest of their market with custom-printed pieces, and personalized URLs. Rather than have the prospects respond with a conventional business reply card, we directed them to respond via a customized PURL-based web landing page. The client was then able to respond immediately (essentially within minutes—rather than weeks), track the results of their program, adjust their campaign on the fly, learn more about their market, and use the data from this campaign to create better, more targeted offers for future mailings.
As an integrated and powerful tool on each campaign, we implemented an online dashboard the provided the client realtime feedback on their marketing program, allowing them to tweak the campaign on the fly. This dashboard is integrated in every single PURL program we do.
The PURL program we create for this client helped them capture the interest of their market with custom-printed pieces, and personalized URLs. We used the power of personalized printing to create not just custom text messages, but unique photos and images that were tailored to the specific needs of the prospects. Ad to this a unique landing page design that captured users attention and interest with a captivating presentation, and this program was a success.
